The fourth Abingdon Food & Drink Festival returns to the fantastic riverside location at Rye Farm Meadow. Organised by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper, this year's event runs from 10am to 6pm. Entry is just £3 payable at the gates, under 12s go free. Free onsite parking is available.
Explore an amazing selection of foods from around the world. Hot foods such as gourmet burgers, burritos, churros, currys, hot dogs, pancakes, pies, pizza, street food, vegetarian dishes, waffles, to name but a few. We will also have cheese producers, chilli products, chutneys, preserves, mustards, sauces, smoked meats, luxury ice cream and some amazing sweets. Check out our gluten-free foods too!
There are plenty of drinks stalls to explore including real ale from the cask, bottled beer, cider, cocktails, mocktails, gin, liqueurs, pimento drink, wine, as well as teas, coffees and soft drinks. Be sure to visit our Pimms & Prosecco stall!
Free demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day in our fantastic, fully equipped kitchen. Pop along and join demos from Brookes Restaurant Cookery and Wine School, Emily Stewart, Mariella Bliss, Mrs B, and Paul Bellchambers - The Late Chef.
Back by popular demand, The Unsung Roots and Witney-based duo Muddy Johnson will once again provide live entertainment at the Festival. This year they will be joined by Abingdon-based The Ock Street Band
Students from Secondary Schools in Abingdon are invited to take part in our “Bake It!” cake making competition, sponsored by Immunocore.
Our guest chefs will judge the cakes on the day of the Festival and the winners will receive fabulous prizes.
