Who we are

The Abingdon Food & Drink Festival is a charity event, organised and managed by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper for their Registered Charity The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper's Charity, number 1178672. This Privacy Policy tells you how we use your personal information, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

How we collect data

Contact Form or email

Should you choose to contact us using the form on our Contact page, the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over a secure channel. When sending emails to us directly, the contents may or may not be transmitted securely depending on which email system you use.

We will only use the information you provide in order to respond to your message. We will not pass on your information to any third party without your consent.

Stall Applications

The information you provide when applying for a stall will be kept for the purpose of orgnising the event. It may be passed on to the local Environmental Health and/or Food Safety Teams from the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire District Councils. It will not be passed to any other third party without your consent.

Mailing List

We use an email mailing list to provide subscribers with information about our next event. This is typically done once a year and lets subscribers know when they can start applying for a stall. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time, either by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of the emails from the list or by contacting us.

Post-event survey

We may invite stallholders to participate in a post-event survey provided by SurveyMonkey

Data retention

We retain information you provide via contact forms, emails and stall applications for a maximum of 6 months following the event to which it relates. We do this in case there are post-event issues to be resolved.
